We have successfully completed a pilot of this project and set one family free from debt slavery, provided them with a bull from which they are now earning a livehood and secured a place for them to live. However, our desire is to take a more systemic approach that will have broader and deeper impact. One that looks at creating a partnership among churches in Pakistan to provide basic savings and loans facilities that would prevent them from falling into debt slavery. In addition to this, to examine the economic opportunities there to assist in making sure the markets work for the poor as well as the wealthy.
